A book designed in collaboration with a long-time client commemorating their company's history.

Building upon our team’s love of archival research, we delved into the inner workings of our long-time client, Nearon Enterprises, and its rich history spanning over seven decades. Founded in 1945 by the visionary Arthur David Nearon, the company has grown over the decades while maintaining its founding ethos as a family company. Arthur Nearon’s pioneering spirit continues to motivate their strategy in the realms of real estate development, property management, and investment.

To commemorate Nearon's 50th anniversary, we undertook the task of researching and designing a book with a focus on historical documentation. In six chapters, each tracing a transformative period in Arthur Nearon's life and the company's trajectory, the book provides a full view of the context surrounding the company’s biggest moments. Bringing the personal together with the professional, the book intimately weaves Arthur Nearon's personal journey into the fabric of Nearon's evolution.

The research was driven by a trove of family photos, archival snapshots, handwritten letters, and a myriad of business documents graciously provided by Nearon. Our team, armed with these artifacts, meticulously combed through the pages of history, aligning each significant event in Arthur Nearon's life and Nearon Enterprises' growth with the broader context of world history.

As the book prepares for printing and distribution among Nearon's team, it serves as more than just a commemorative piece. To create a historical narrative that’s beautiful, clear, and highlights the most interesting aspects of the company’s journey has been immensely gratifying, as we’ve seen how storytelling can connect us to the past. An artifact like this fosters a sense of connection and pride among Nearon’s team members, allowing them to walk hand in hand with the history that has shaped their company into what it is today.
