A new hotspot for a neighborhood experiencing a rapid population boom.

Coming off the back of our successful restaurant collaboration, Brandon Hargett of Aker Restaurant approached us to continue our creative partnership with Hoppers Brew Pub’s newest location in rising Daybreak. Brandon had just negotiated a project for the revitalization of the company through their relocation, and NorthStar Construction was already making significant progress on the grayshell spaces. With the opportunity to work alongside Brandon once again, we eagerly jumped in to the project, closely following the original development’s evolution while simultaneously crafting our own interventions to transform the space into a hub for the neighborhood.

We aimed to create a remarkable mezzanine outdoor space, renovate the outdoor eating areas, and craft a unique brewery experience that seamlessly integrates exterior and interior elements, offering patrons picturesque views of an incredible water feature within the development.

The building’s expansive dining space easily accommodates Daybreak’s population with room for growth, as the area is projected to experience rapid positive change over the next decade. We designed with this in mind, creating a space that’s well equipped for longevity through future challenges, a hub with timeless style and durable construction.

The outdoor spaces are adaptable to accommodate the erratic weather patterns of the region, allowing patrons to benefit from their surroundings in the hottest weeks of summer as well as during a snowstorm. Large windows and transitional spaces provide expansive views of the mountains in every direction and an outdoor fireplace gives a living room feel to the elegant patio.
