Working on the tenant improvement project with T-Mobile was a genuinely enjoyable experience for our team. A mix of clear goals, quick decision-making, and just enough fun. What stood out most was how simple the brief was, yet how much the space changed with a few well-chosen updates.

T-Mobile came into the project with a practical mindset. Rather than starting from scratch, we focused on making the most of the existing layout and finishes. That approach let us introduce upgrades that blended in smoothly: refreshed materials, updated furniture, a larger training room, and a new open-office layout that gave the whole floor a lighter, more connected feel.

The finished space now includes a collaboration area, a relaxed lounge, personal lockers to support a more flexible workday, and an easy flow between the break room and the conference spaces—all framed by sweeping views of the Wasatch mountains. Even though the scope of work was modest, the effect was surprisingly transformative.

We wrapped up the project just as employees were returning to the office after an extended break, which made the final reveal especially rewarding. It felt like the right kind of fresh start.

As we handed things off, we left T-Mobile with our thanks, a small parting gift, and a workspace that we hoped would keep inspiring connection and productivity long after we packed up.

Looking back, it was a great example of how thoughtful, well-timed design choices—nothing flashy, just intentional—can turn a familiar space into something that feels new again.
